The 2nd special training program for optical professionals at Boxin Optics has recently come to a successful end. This two-day training focused on enhancing practical capabilities in optical system design. Open to in-house technical staff and university students majoring in optoelectronics as a public welfare initiative, it adopted a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on practice, helping participants build systematic and practical thinking for optical design from scratch.
Addressing the common drawbacks of conventional industry courses that overemphasize theories while lacking practical production relevance, this program avoided fragmented knowledge teaching. It covered the full workflow including customer requirement analysis, optical architecture design, drawing standards, solution implementation and final acceptance, targeting typical challenges in optical design and lens R&D. All contents are fully tailored to on-site work and project delivery.
The training was delivered by two experienced instructors: a senior doctor specialized in optics and a company optical engineer with over 20 years of industry experience. The optical expert gave in-depth lectures on core theories such as optical system design logic, aberration control and power combination. Xia Yanyan, our senior optical engineer with two decades of experience, illustrated the complete end-to-end design process of zoom lenses with real project cases from the perspectives of requirement analysis, production and delivery. The content is highly practical and informative.
Following a progressive curriculum, the training covered fundamental optical concepts, system parameter analysis, standardized design methodologies and engineering specifications, comprehensively helping participants make up for technical deficiencies. In addition, we supported emerging talents in the industry by offering free access, supporting services and official completion certificates for student attendees, enabling young professionals to get started and grow rapidly in the optical field.
This special training has effectively strengthened the R&D and design capabilities of our technical team and optimized the company’s talent pipeline. It also contributes to talent cultivation for the broader optics industry. Going forward, Boxin Optics will continue to organize regular practical technical training.
