To strengthen employees’ practical capabilities in precision optical processing and foster a workplace culture of healthy competition, mutual learning, progressive improvement and mutual assistance, Boxin Optics has successfully wrapped up its Q2 Machining Skills Competition.
The competition consisted of two practical contest categories: optical lens cleaning and optical coating technology. For the lens cleaning session, participants were assessed mainly on delivering spotless, scratch-free lens surfaces. The coating competition adopted Leybold coating equipment, focusing on silver and aluminum optical coating processes. All assessment criteria were fully aligned with formal mass-production workshop specifications.
After multiple rounds of practical evaluations, one Skills Model Employee was selected for each contest track. A formal award ceremony was held upon the conclusion of the event to recognize outstanding performers who strictly followed process standards and delivered superior coating quality, with special cash rewards presented to the winners. All competition results will be archived and publicly released, serving as key evaluation references for employees’ technical title assessment and year-end technical awards. These skill benchmarks set exemplary role models for all staff to follow standardized procedures and pursue professional excellence.
